AT 500 AM EDT...0900Z...THE CENTER OF TROPICAL STORM NANA WAS LOCATED NEAR LATITUDE 16.6 NORTH...LONGITUDE 39.3 WEST OR ABOUT 1015 MILES...1635 KM...WEST OF THE CAPE VERDE ISLANDS.
NANA IS MOVING TOWARD THE WEST-NORTHWEST NEAR 7 MPH...11 KM/HR...AND THIS GENERAL MOTION IS EXPECTED TO CONTINUE FOR THE NEXT DAY OR TWO.
