AT 500 PM AST...2100Z...THE CENTER OF TROPICAL STORM LAURA WAS LOCATED NEAR LATITUDE 42.3 NORTH...LONGITUDE 48.6 WEST OR ABOUT 375 MILES...605 KM...SOUTHEAST OF CAPE RACE NEWFOUNDLAND.
LAURA IS MOVING TOWARD THE NORTH NEAR 14 MPH...22 KM/HR. A TURN TOWARD THE NORTH-NORTHEAST WITH AN INCREASE IN FORWARD SPEED IS EXPECTED TO BEGIN TONIGHT.
