AT 1100 PM AST...0300Z...THE CENTER OF TROPICAL STORM KYLE WAS LOCATED NEAR LATITUDE 24.8 NORTH...LONGITUDE 68.0 WEST OR ABOUT 555 MILES...890 KM...SOUTH-SOUTHWEST OF BERMUDA.
KYLE IS MOVING TOWARD THE NORTH NEAR 13 MPH...20 KM/HR...AND THIS GENERAL MOTION IS EXPECTED TO CONTINUE OVER THE NEXT TWO DAYS. ON THIS TRACK...KYLE IS EXPECTED TO REMAIN WEST OF BERMUDA.
REPORTS FROM A NOAA HURRICANE HUNTER AIRCRAFT INDICATE THAT MAXIMUM SUSTAINED WINDS HAVE INCREASED TO NEAR 50 MPH...85 KM/HR...WITH HIGHER GUSTS. SOME STRENGTHENING IS FORECAST DURING THE NEXT 48 HOURS AND KYLE COULD BECOME A HURRICANE BY SATURDAY.
TROPICAL STORM FORCE WINDS EXTEND OUTWARD UP TO 105 MILES...165 KM...TO THE NORTH AND EAST OF THE CENTER.
MINIMUM CENTRAL PRESSURE ESTIMATED BY THE AIRCRAFT WAS 994 MB...29.35 INCHES.
