AT 1100 PM AST...0300Z...THE CENTER OF TROPICAL STORM JOSEPHINE WAS LOCATED NEAR LATITUDE 13.9 NORTH...LONGITUDE 30.7 WEST OR ABOUT 425 MILES...685 KM...WEST OF THE SOUTHERNMOST CAPE VERDE ISLANDS. JOSEPHINE IS MOVING TOWARD THE WEST NEAR 12 MPH...19 KM/HR...AND A WEST OR WEST-NORTHWESTWARD MOTION IS EXPECTED TO CONTINUE FOR THE NEXT SEVERAL DAYS.
