According to the Southwest Regional News story, an area of low pressure building over West Texas will spread a mix of rain and snow across southern Colorado, New Mexico, West Texas and the panhandles of Texas and Oklahoma. By Sunday, the storm will shift to the east. A swath of soaking rain and locally heavy, gusty thunderstorms will unfold over the central Gulf Coast Sunday and then perhaps on to the balance of the Southeast Monday.
