* AT 615 PM EDT...NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE DOPPLER RADAR INDICATED A SEVERE THUNDERSTORM CAPABLE OF PRODUCING PENNY SIZE HAIL...AND DAMAGING WINDS IN EXCESS OF 60 MPH. THIS STORM WAS LOCATED 8 MILES NORTH OF ROCK HALL...OR ABOUT 19 MILES NORTHWEST OF CENTERVILLE...AND MOVING EAST-SOUTHEAST AT 15 TO 20 MPH.
* ANOTHER STRONG TO SEVERE THUNDERSTORM WAS BETWEEN QUEENSTOWN AND STARR...AND MOVING EAST AT 15 MPH.
* THE SEVERE THUNDERSTORM WILL BE NEAR... LANGFORD BY 640 PM... CHESTERTOWN AND OLD TOWN BY 650 PM... STARKEY CORNER BY 705 PM... CHURCH HILL BY 710 PM...
DOPPLER RADAR HAS INDICATED SOME WEAK ROTATION WITHIN THIS STORM. WHILE NOT IMMEDIATELY LIKELY...A TORNADO MAY STILL DEVELOP. IF A TORNADO IS SPOTTED...ACT QUICKLY AND MOVE TO A PLACE OF SAFETY IN A STURDY STRUCTURE...SUCH AS A BASEMENT OR SMALL INTERIOR ROOM.
A SEVERE THUNDERSTORM WATCH REMAINS IN EFFECT UNTIL MIDNIGHT THURSDAY MORNING FOR DELAWARE AND NORTHEASTERN MARYLAND AND SOUTHERN NEW JERSEY AND SOUTHEASTERN PENNSYLVANIA.
