severe thunderstorm warning for: southeastern montgomery county in central Maryland, northern prince georges county in central Maryland, arlington county in northern Virginia, city of alexandria in northern Virginia, city of falls church in northern Virginia, east central fairfax county in northern Virginia,
Until 230 pm edt.
At 144 pm edt, national weather service doppler radar indicated a line of severe thunderstorms. These storms were located along a line extending from beltsville to the i66 and i495 interchange, and moving southeast at 17 mph.
Locations impacted include, rosslyn, lake barcroft, ballston, arlington, new carrollton, bladensburg, lincolnia, bailey's crossroads, landover, cheverly,
Hail to the size of pennies and wind gusts to 60 mph can be expected in the warned area. Stay indoors and away from windows until the storm has passed.
