URGENT - IMMEDIATE BROADCAST REQUESTED SEVERE THUNDERSTORM WATCH NUMBER 641 NWS STORM PREDICTION CENTER NORMAN OK/OLNEY MD 140 PM EDT SUN JUN 29 2008 THE NWS STORM PREDICTION CENTER HAS ISSUED A SEVERE THUNDERSTORM WATCH FOR PORTIONS OF PARTS OF SOUTHEAST GEORGIA LARGE PART OF CENTRAL NORTH CAROLINA MUCH OF SOUTH CAROLINA COASTAL WATERS EFFECTIVE THIS SUNDAY AFTERNOON AND EVENING FROM 140 PM UNTIL 900 PM EDT. HAIL TO 2 INCHES IN DIAMETER...THUNDERSTORM WIND GUSTS TO 70 MPH...AND DANGEROUS LIGHTNING ARE POSSIBLE IN THESE AREAS. THE SEVERE THUNDERSTORM WATCH AREA IS APPROXIMATELY ALONG AND 95 STATUTE MILES EAST AND WEST OF A LINE FROM 10 MILES EAST SOUTHEAST OF SAVANNAH GEORGIA TO 45 MILES NORTHEAST OF GREENSBORO NORTH CAROLINA.
