severe thunderstorm warning for: northwest montgomery county in central Maryland, south central frederick county in north central Maryland, northeast loudoun county in northern Virginia,
Until 545 pm edt.
At 438 pm edt, national weather service doppler radar indicated a severe thunderstorm. This storm was located near leesburg, and moving northeast at 18 mph.
Locations impacted include, poolesville, poolesville, boyds, boyds, germantown, gaithersburg,
Hail to the size of pennies and wind gusts to 60 mph can be expected in the warned area. Stay indoors and away from windows until the storm has passed.
