THE NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE IN OLNEY MARYLAND HAS ISSUED A
* SEVERE THUNDERSTORM WARNING FOR... CHARLES COUNTY IN SOUTHERN MARYLAND... ST. MARYS COUNTY IN SOUTHERN MARYLAND...
* UNTIL 845 PM EDT
* AT 700 PM EDT...NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE DOPPLER RADAR INDICATED A SEVERE THUNDERSTORM. THIS STORM WAS LOCATED NEAR LA PLATA...AND MOVING NORTHEAST AT 32 MPH. ANOTHER SEVERE THUNDERSTORM WAS LOCATED OVER THE POTOMAC RIVER SOUTH OF THE ROUTE 301 BRIDGE MOVING EAST ABOUT 15 MPH AND WILL AFFECT WESTERN PORTIONS OF SAINT MARYS COUNTY.
* LOCATIONS IMPACTED INCLUDE... ST. CHARLES... WALDORF...
HAIL TO THE SIZE OF PENNIES AND WIND GUSTS TO 60 MPH CAN BE EXPECTED IN THE WARNED AREA. STAY INDOORS AND AWAY FROM WINDOWS UNTIL THE STORM HAS PASSED.
