severe thunderstorm warning for: west central montgomery county in central Maryland, city of manassas in northern Virginia, northwestern city of manassas park in northern Virginia, northwestern fairfax county in northern Virginia, east central fauquier county in northern Virginia, southeastern loudoun county in northern Virginia, western prince william county in northern Virginia,
Until 930 pm edt.
At 840 pm edt, national weather service doppler radar indicated a severe thunderstorm. This storm was located 9 miles southwest of bull run, and moving north at 31 mph.
Locations impacted include, bull run, haymarket, centreville, chantilly, dulles international airport, arcola, herndon, reston, countryside, ashburn,
Hail to the size of pennies and wind gusts to 60 mph can be expected in the warned area. Stay indoors and away from windows until the storm has passed.
