NOAA HURRICANE HUNTER AND NOAA BOUY DATA INDICATE CONTINUED ORGINAZATION OF THE LARGE LOW PRESSURE AREA EAST OF THE LESSER ANTTILES AND GUADALOUPE THE CHANCES ARE AT 100% THAT A TROPICAL CYCLONE IS FORMING AND ADVISORIES WILL BE INIATED LATER TODAY WHEN THE REPORT OF THE AIRFORCE RESERVE HURRICANE HUNTERS COMES IN WE ARE WAITING ON THAT DATA TO MAKE THE FINAL DERMINATION AS TO WHAT HAS FORMED OUT THERE DATA FROM OVER NIGHT RECON FLIGHTS FROM PUERTO RICO INDICATE CONTINUED ORGINATION AND PRESSURE DROPS IN THE CENTER THE SFMR ON THE PLANE AND DROP SONDE INDICATE WINDS HAVE NOT YET REACHED TROPICAL DEPRESSION THRESH HOLD BUT SOON WILL IF SO IT WILL BE TROPICAL DEPRESSION 5 THE FIFTH ONE OF THE SEASON.
IF IT GETS A NAME IT WILL GET THE NAME EMILY AND WE WILL WAIT FOR THE LATEST RECON DATA TO MAKE THE DETERMINATION AS TO WHAT HAS FORMED OUT THERE IF ANYTHING CHANCES ARE HIGH NEAR 100% THAT IT WILL BECOME A TROPICAL CYCLONE IN THE NEXT 24 TO 48 HRS.
WATCHES AND WARNINGS MAY BE REQUIRED FOR THE LESSER ANTILLES AND NORTHERN WINDWARD ISLANDS LATER TODAY IF IT DEVELOPS INTO A CYCLONE INTERSTS IN THE US VIRGIN ISLANDS AND PUERTO RICO SHOULD MONITOR THE PROGRESS OF THIS SYSTEM AND STAY ALERT TO PRODUCTS ISSUED BY YOUR LOCAL NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE FORECAST OFFICERS WITH IN THE USA AND TO PORDUCTS ISSUED BY YOUR NATIONAL METEOROLOGICAL SERVICES OUT SIDE THE TERITORIAL USA .
