HURRICANE STATEMENT NATIONAL HURRICANE CENTER OLNEY MARYLAND 1030 AM SAT JULY 30,2011
TROPICAL DEPRESSION FORMATION IS IMINANT
HURRICANE HUNTERS OUT OF PUERTO RICO HAVE DISCOVERED THAT A LOW PRESSURE THAT WE HAVE BEEN TRACKING ON SATALITE HAS BECOME BETTER OGRANIZED AND IF THIS KEEP UP WE WILL NEED TO INIATE ADVISORIES ON A TROPICAL CYCLONE DATA INDICATES THAT THERE IS A WELL DEFINED CLOSED CIRCULATION CENTER INBEDED IN THE DEEPEST CONVECTION SFMR WINDS AHAVE COME BACK AT 15 KTS STILL NOT ENOUGH TO BE CLASSIFIED AS A TROPICAL CYCLONE BUT FLIGHT LEVEL WINDS HAVE BEEN MESSURED AT OVER 45 KTS ENOUGH TO MAKE IT A 50 MPH TROPICAL STORM AND GIVE IT A NAME. IF TRENDS CONINUE WE WILL BEGIN ADVISORIES AT 11 AM EDT IF NOT THEN EATHER BY SUNDAY OR MONDAY OF NEXT WEEK AS TRENDS GO.
THE NEXT HURRICANE HUNTER FLIGHT IS SCHEDULED TO INVESTIGATE THIS SYSTEM LATER TODAY FROM BELOXI MISSISSISSIPPI THE 53RD WEATHER RECON SQUADRON THE HURRICANE HUNTERS OF THE AIR FORCE..
