THE NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE IN OLNEY MD HAS ISSUED A COASTAL FLOOD ADVISORY...WHICH IS IN EFFECT UNTIL 10 AM EDT MONDAY.
A STRONG STORM SYSTEM CURRENTLY IN THE MIDWEST IS FORECAST TO TRACK EAST INTO THE MID ATLANTIC REGION TONIGHT. SOUTHEASTERLY WINDS WILL INCREASE AS A RESULT...ALLOWING WATER LEVEL DEPARTURES TO CLIMB 1 TO 2 FEET ABOVE ASTRONOMICAL TIDE ON THE WESTERN SHORE OF THE CHESAPEAKE BAY. THIS MAY CAUSE MINOR OR NUISANCE COASTAL FLOODING AROUND TIMES OF HIGH TIDE INTO MONDAY MORNING.
