Showers continue to exit the region and in their wake expect to see mostly cloudy skies with a few breaks late this afternoon and early evening. Overnight, skies will remain mostly cloudy and temperatures will be cool, falling into the upper 40s in the suburbs to mid 50s around town.
Saturday, a weak disturbance is expected to cross the region around midday, bringing with it a chance for a few showers in the late morning through early afternoon. Highs will continue to be cool, only reaching the low to mid 60s. The best part of the weekend appears to be Sunday with partly cloudy skies through the early afternoon, but clouds will once again increase throughout the day as another potent area of low pressure advances towards the area. Highs should reach the upper 60s. The best chance for showers to begin will be late in the day towards the evening, with more heavy rainfall by Sunday night. This may allow for more flooding problems and possible severe storms so be sure to stay tuned for more information through the weekend.
The beginning of next week will see this region of low pressure pushing out and giving more rain through the day on Monday, finally exiting and clearing out by Tuesday
