SPECAL WEATHER STATEMENT NOAA NATONAL WEATHER SERVICE OLNEY MARYLAND 2:30 PM EST JANUARY 19 2011
SNOW ON TAP FOR THURSDAY NIGHT INTO FRIDAY……
SNOW IS ON TAP FOR THE END OF THE WEEK AS A NEW STORM SYSTEM COMES ACROSS THE COUNTRY AND IS CURRENTLY IN THE MID WEST TO ROCKIE MOUNTAINS …. THE STORM WILL COME ACROSS THE SOUTHERN STATES AROUND VIRGINIA AND NORTH CAROLINA THERE SHOULD BE SUFFICENT COLD AIR TO CAUSE SNOW TO ACCUMULATE AS THE STORM TURNS AND HEADS UP THE EAST COAST… SNOW MAY BEGIN AS EARLY AS THURSDAY NIGHT AND CONTINUE INTO FRIDAY RIGHT NOW WE ARE HOLDING OF ON ISSUEING WATCHES AND WARNING TILL WE KNOW MORE RIGHT NOW THE TEMPERATURES ARE IN THE MID 40’S AROUND THE AREA.
WILL CONTINUE TO MONITOR AND ISSUE UPDATES AS CONDITIONS WARRANT FOR THIS STORM THAT IS COMEING FOR THE END OF THE WEEK.
