SIGNIFIGANT SNOW/ ICE ON TAP FOR THE EASTERN SHORE OF MARYLAND AND THE DELMARVA ….
A DEVELOPING STORM OVER FLORIDA WILL COMEBINE WITH A LOW MOVEING ACROSS THE OHIO VALLEY TO PRODUCE 2-4 INCHES IN THE WASHINGTON METRO AREA AND HIGHER AMOUNTS AROUND BALTIMORE AND ITS SUBURBS.
THE STORM WILL GROW RAPIDLY AS IT MOVES ALONG THE EAST COAST AND UP INTO NEW ENGLAND HOWEVER THE STORM IS PASSING CLOSE ENOUGH TO THE COAST TO BRING A MIX OF SLEET AND FREEZEING RAIN TO THE DELMARVA THERE FOR A WINTER STORM WATCH HAS BEEN ISSUED AND A SNOW ADVISORY HAS BEEN ISSUED FOR WASHINGTON DC AND SUBBURBS…. SNOW ACCUMULATIONS OF 2-4 INCHES ARE EXPECTED IN THE WASHINGTON METRO AREA AND GREATER THAN 4 INCHES IN THE WATCH AREA WITH A MIX OF SLEET AND MAYBE SOME FREEZEING RAIN . MODELS ARE IN GOOD AGREEMENT ABOUT THE COASTAL STROM AND THE STORM FROM THE MID WEST AS WELL WILL TRANSFER ITS ENERGY AND CAUSE THE STORM COMEING UP THE COAST TO STRENTHEN.
THIS IS A POETENTALY DANGEROUS SITUATION SHOULD FEEZEING RAIN OCCURE OVER THE EASTERN SHORE RESIDENTS IN THAT AREA ARE ADVISED TO STAY TUNE TO LATEST FORECASTS THOSE IN WASHINGTON METRO AREA ARE ADVISED THE SAME THING THINGS COULD CHANGE DRASTICKLY THINGS ARE STILL UNCERTIN
