SPECAL WEATHER STATEMENT NOAA NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE OLNEY MARYLAND 300 PM EST FRIDAY JANUARY 7, 2011 ACCUMULATEING SNOW ON TRACK FOR THE EARLY PART OF NEXT WEEK…… ACCUMULATEING SNOW ON TRACK FOR MONDAY NIGHT AND ALL DAY TUESDAY NEXT WEEK. LIGHT DUSTING TO AN INCH OF SNOW FROM A CLIPPER THAT PASSED BY LAST NIGHT AND CLOUDY SKYS PREVAIL OVER MUCH OF THE FORECAST AREA. MODELS ARE STARTING TO SUGGEST A STORM COMEING FROM THE WEST ALONG THE EASTERN COAST BRINGIN A CHANCE FOR ACCUMULATEING SNOW AND THERE ARE STILL A LOT OF DIVERGANCE IN EXCAT MODEL TRACK BUT MODELS FORECAST FOR OUR AREA ACCUMULATEING SNOW WE OF THE WEATHER SERVICE WILL HOLD OFF TILL SUNDAY OR MONDAY OF NEXT WEEK ANY WATCHES SINCE WE GOT BURNED WITH THIS LAST STORM WE ARE WAITING TO SEE WHAT MATERIRALZES TO ISSUE THE WATCHES AND ANY WARNINGS STAY TUNED TO LOCAL MEDIA AND OR RADIO FOR UPDATES OR VISIT US ON THE WEB AT WWW.NWS.NOAA.GOV ALL LOWERCASE FOR FURTHER UPDATES ON WHATS COMEING, MILLER/LEBLANC
