THE NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE IN BALTIMORE MD/WASHINGTON HAS ISSUED A WINTER WEATHER ADVISORY FOR SNOW... WHICH IS IN EFFECT FROM 6 AM SUNDAY TO 6 AM EST MONDAY. THE WINTER STORM WATCH IS NO LONGER IN EFFECT.
* PRECIPITATION TYPE...SNOW.
* ACCUMULATIONS...3 TO 5 INCHES.
* TIMING...LIGHT SNOW WILL BEGIN AROUND DAYBREAK SUNDAY...THEN BECOME STEADIER TOWARDS MID MORNING. SNOW WILL CONTINUE THROUGH THE EARLY EVENING HOURS SUNDAY...BEFORE TAPERING TO SNOW SHOWERS LATE SUNDAY NIGHT INTO EARLY MONDAY MORNING.
* TEMPERATURES...LOWS IN THE UPPER 20S LATE TONIGHT. HIGH TEMPERATURES IN THE LOWER 30S SUNDAY AND MONDAY. LOW TEMPERATURES SUNDAY NIGHT IN THE LOWER TO MID 20S.
* WINDS...NORTH 10 TO 15 MPH LATE TONIGHT AND SUNDAY MORNING... INCREASING TO 15 TO 25 MPH WITH GUSTS TO 35 MPH SUNDAY AFTERNOON. NORTHWEST 20 TO 30 MPH WITH GUSTS TO 40 MPH SUNDAY NIGHT.
