SPECALWEATHER STATEMENT NOAA NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE OLNEY MD 5:00 PM EST WEDNESSDAY DECEMBER 23,2010
MID ATLANTIC DOGES A MAJOR SNOW BULLET
THE LATEST MODEL RUNS AT 3:00 PM AND 4:00 PM INDICATE THAT THE STORM WILL FORM JUST FAR ENOUGH TO NOT BRING MUCH TO THE WASHINGTON METRO AREA HOWEVER THE NEW ENGLAND STATES MAY GET A MAJOR STORM OUT OF IT.
HOW EVER PRECISE TRACK IS UNCERTIN AS THE FORECASTS GREATER THAN 24 HRS ARE UNCERTIN. ANY DEVEATION IN THE FORECAST TRACK WESTWARD WILL PUT WASHINGTON IN THE BULLS EYE FOR HEAVY SNOW.
BUT RIGHT NOW IT DOESN’T LOOK LIKE THE MID ATLANTIC HAS DOGGED THE BULLET WITH THIS STORM LIKE THE ONE OF DECEMBER 10TH THE TRACK IS UNCERTIN PLEASE STAY ABREST OF THE LATEST FORECASTS FOR UPDATES
