MAJOR SNOW STORM FORECAST FOR SATURDAY THROUGH MONDAY
A UPPER LEVEL LOW WILL PASS THROUGH THE NCA SATURDAY DURRING THE DAY AND MAY REQUIRE THE ISSUEANCE OF SNOW ADVISORIES FOR THE NCA OF BALTIMORE AND WASHINGTON DC.
THE MAJOR STORM IS FORECAST TO OCCUR AROUND SUNDAY AND INTO MONDAY AS THE STORM TRACKS UP THE COAST OF THE UNITED STATES. MODELS ARE STARTING TO COME INTO BETTER AGREEMENT AS THE TIME NEARS FOR THE EVENT AND INDICATE THAT THE TRACK CLOSER TO THE COAST MAY BE THE ONE THE STORM TAKES PLACEING BALTMORE AND WASHINGTON EASLY IN 6-12 INCHES OR MORE STILL TO EARLY TO TELL EXCATLY WHAT WILL FALL BUT MODELS ARE STARTING TO AGREE THAT IT WILL BE SNOWY AND WINDY. THE SNOW FALL TOTAL MENTIONED IS JUST FOR GUIDANCE PERPOSES, IT COULD EASLY BE MORE THAN 12 INCHES .
THE OUT LIERS OF THE MODEL RUNS SHOW THE STORM TRACKING A BIT FARTHER OFF THE COAST AND MISSING WASHINGTON DC ALL TOGEATHER A THIRD TRACK HAS IT PRODUCEING LIGHT SNOW FOR THE NCA AND MAJOR SNOW FOR THE NORTH EAST AND NEW ENGLAND. THESE TO TRACKS ARE OUT SIDE THE MODEL EVLOPE AND ARE CONSIDED ONLY BECAUSE THEY ARE THERE PRECISE TIMEING OF THE STORM IS STILL UNCERTIN AS THE STORM IS SEVERAL DAYS AWAY.
HOW EVER THE TRACK THE STORM IS EXPECTED TO BE A STRONG ONE AND BRING SNOW AND GUSTY WINDS TO THE AREA HOW MUCH AND HOW HEAVY ARE STILL QUESTIONS THAT NEED TO BE ANSWERD.
