Snow advisory in effect from 6 am to 6 pm est Wednesday. The NWS in sterling virginia has issued a snow advisory, which is in effect from 6 am to 6 pm est wednesday. An alberta clipper system will cross the mid atlantic region overnight and tomorrow. Snow will begin after 5 am across the eastern panhandle of west virginia spread into Washington dc after sunrise. This system is expected to bring one to two inches to the region. This will be a light and fluffy snow. A snow advisory means that periods of snow will cause primarily travel difficulties. Be prepared for snow covered roads and limited visibilities, and use caution while driving.
