The East Regional News story reports any travel problems Wednesday along the East Coast will likely be the result of morning fog before rain reaches the coast by Thursday.
On Thanksgiving Day, snow is forecast over the Great Lakes and along the St. Lawrence Valley. Showers forecast for New York City should arrive in the afternoon, following the Macy's Thanksgiving Day Parade.
Warm air flowing up the Eastern Seaboard will result in above-normal temperatures in the major cities south of New England. Over the next two days, the cold front will be the dividing line between two contrasting air masses. Highs along the East Coast will reach the 60s and 70s, while highs north and west of the cold front will be in the 30s and 40s.
As the cold front sweeps across the country, high temperatures by Wednesday will be as much as 40 degrees colder than highs today and on Monday.
